Cabot colleagues exceed expectation during the pandemic

21 December 2021 – During the past year, Cabot Credit Management (Cabot), a market leader in European credit management services, has won several awards across its businesses, thanks to the hard work of its people. This recognition comes for its excellent technology solutions, professional legal expertise and some of its team’s exceptional leadership skills.

Craig Buick, CEO, Cabot Credit Management, said: “December is a good time to reflect on the year that has passed and look at what our people have achieved for us as a business. This has been challenging time with the restraints of the pandemic, working from home and then moving to a hybrid model, but our colleagues have risen to the challenges and embraced the changes. I am delighted that we have been recognised in the industry for many of our achievements this year. Our colleagues more than deserve this recognition and we are so proud of their achievements and what they make us capable of doing for our consumers.”

This year’s award wins include Team Leader of the Year at the Women in Credit Awards which was won by Clare French, Head of Customer Care at Cabot Financial. Mortimer Clarke Solicitors winning Best Legal and Advisory Service at the Lending Awards and Law Firm of the Year at the Credit Awards. Our speech analytics programme in partnership with Call Miner won three awards this year – the Innovation award at the Credit Services Association awards, Best Use of Technology at the Collections and Customer Awards and Best Application of Technology at the Institute of Customer Service Awards.

Judge’s comments included – for Team Leader of the Year - “Clare leads the customer care organisation at Cabot Financial, and headed up its response to get the operation working from home and coordinated with the entire leadership at Cabot to ensure it made swift, well principled decisions that resulted in safe colleagues, sustained customer service and a business protected from the worst effects of the pandemic.” The judges said she put her team and their future development first, acting for the benefit of her team.
