A brilliant autumn of community and charity events at Cabot Financial Ireland

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at our Dublin site for a great couple of months of community and charity events.

A highly anticipated event in the Cabot Financial Ireland calendar, our annual Cabot Financial Ireland Olympics took place on 19 September 2025. It’s always a fantastic day and a great opportunity for colleagues to engage with each other outside of work and be active. The Olympics was fantastic as ever and followed by a well-deserved night out together at The Odeon. Thanks to everyone who helped organise for all your hard work and thanks to everyone who took part.

We then held our Wellness Week from 22-26 September. September marks Suicide Awareness Month, so both this and Mental Health Awareness were the key message of the week.

Our organisers did a fantastic job in promoting the importance of community and wellbeing in the workplace through various positive, uplifting and encouraging messages placed throughout the office and helpful communications shared with our colleagues. Everyone was given healthy snack bars to enjoy, and we set up a gratitude wall for everyone to add their positive and supportive comments for each other to.

We finished the week with a Mind Quiz, where colleagues had the opportunity to bag couple of prizes. As part of the week, we raised funds for Jigsaw, a local mental health service, and we managed to raise a total of €1420!

Wellness Week 1

Finally, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we held a fundraiser on 3 October 2025 with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Ireland, a charity established to raise significant funding to support pioneering research programmes nationally, as well as to promote education and awareness of Breast Cancer.
Our fundraiser was a Cycling Challenge, and our colleagues were invited to make a donation and nominate two people to challenge each other in a 1-minute cycling race.

The day was an incredible success that saw friendships temporarily put aside as the competitive spirit took over! We managed to raise a whopping €2,358 for Breast Cancer Ireland.

Another huge thank you to everyone who played a part in these events and especially those who’ve given their time to organise and make everything happen. The community spirit and camaraderie in our Dublin office is something we’ve always been proud of, and continues to grow. We are really proud of everything our colleagues do to give back to the communities we work in; it genuinely is inspiring.
